Strabane dairy farmer wins longevity prize in the AHV Anniversary Lottery

Dairy farmers David & Andrew Sayers, from Strabane, Co Tyrone, have every reason to celebrate this Easter! They’ve just won a year’s complimentary access to AHV’s cutting-edge Longevity Herd Health Programme for 50 cows

A customer for 2 years, Andrew was surprised and delighted to learn that he was a winner in the AHV anniversary lottery, after a routine purchase from his AHV Consultant James Warnock, automatically placed him in the global draw.

The anniversary lottery ran from October 2023 to February 2024, to its customers worldwide, celebrating over a decade of support and collaboration. AHV founders Gertjan Streefland and Jan de Rooy drew the winners on February 16th. The prize won by the Sayers was a top tier prize.

Andrew Sayers along with his father David, milk 120 Holstein-cross cows on the family farm. They have been regularly using AHV products to support udder health and milk performance, with ongoing guidance and support from James.

Andrew explains, “Things have been going very well with all the products. There has been more milk sent down per cow, less udder problems with the cows – just generally going better.”

The Longevity Herd Health Programme

The Longevity Herd Health Programme marks a significant opportunity for the Sayers to advance their farm goals. A comprehensive approach, the Longevity Programme extends proactive support to improve uterine and udder health, metabolism support, transition, production and more. The goal is to keep cows healthy and thus in herd the longer, ultimately leading to greater herd profitability.
