“AHV is part of our strategic plan”
Ed Seaton farms with his wife Kelly and family at Styche Holsteins on the Cheshire / Shropshire border in England, UK. With a strong herd of 240, Ed’s plan is to keep numbers as is but wants to become more efficient in the way they farm.
Sustainability is our goal
Sustainability is the key driver here and when Ed heard about AHV from a student in Ireland he decided to reach out. Ed has implemented the Udder Health plan onto his heard in a proactive approach – therefore he is not firefighting health challenges.
The main benefits Ed has seen, since adopting AHV is the reduction of traditional methods used on the farm and the ability to put a better quality produce in the tank.
“AHV has made my life easier”
It has made Ed’s life easier as he continues to focus more on the longevity and production of his herd, and he is able to do this through the support given by AHV.

The Seaton Family won the best 5 year-old in milk, the best home bred and the best udder in their class at this years UK Dairy Day. They were then crowned the overall UK Dairy Day Gran Champion.
