Experiences with ReaQt: A valuable support to calf health

The farm Marienhöher in Saxony, Germany manages a herd of about 550 dairy cows plus young stock. Animal health is a central aspect on the farm. Advantage of further development – AHV ReaQt:

ReaQt combines the effect of the previous Calf Tablet with that of AHV Aspi Liquid. Previously, two separate applications were necessary for the health issues of the calves: First, the Calf Tablet was administered with the help of a small bolus shooter, followed by 100 to 200 ml of Aspi Liquid, applied for example with a drench gun. Since ReaQt combines the effects of both products, now only one “action” is required.

ReaQt convinces with its uncomplicated and efficient handling. The liquid product is supplied in bottles with a practical spray head, which makes it particularly easy and quick to use:

1. Screw on the spray head
2. Hold the bottle upside down and pump until liquid comes out for the first time
3. Insert the spray head into the calf’s mouth
4. Pump twice (= 10 ml ReaQt)
5. Repeat the application on the following day

In most cases, two applications are enough to successfully stabilize the health of the animals.
